Solo or in tandem, you are in control of your own craft. That's the essence of airboat kayaking: a whitewater descent where every decision is yours — your line, your pace, your passage.
Guided by your Exploriders instructor, you'll learn to read the river, catch eddies to stop, and pick your trajectories. Every rapid becomes a new opportunity to improve.
The airboat kayak goes where a raft cannot. Intermediate water levels open up intimate routes, hugging the banks and taking in the landscapes of South Finistère.
Discovery Route
Lower Ellé : From Ty Nadan Bridge → Quimperlé
From the Ty Nadan bridge, set off on an 8.5 km descent along the Ellé, through unspoiled nature far from any road.
The river winds through dense forest and a valley dotted with old mills — echoes of a time when the river was at the heart of local life.
No experience needed, just the desire to explore. The perfect starting point for anyone new to whitewater.
Suitable from age 7 in tandem with an adult.
Sport Route
Middle Ellé : From Loge Coucou Bridge → Roches du Diable
From the Loge Coucou bridge, 7.5 kms of descent await.
The put-in is gentle — time to find your feet.
Then the river picks up: the valley narrows, the current quickens, and the paddling gets technical. You'll thread between rocks, ride waves and stoppers, and read each rapid as it comes.
At the end of it all: the Roches du Diable — a legendary site in Breton whitewater. Running it solo, in your own airboat, is the goal many set themselves from their very first descent. And when it goes — the feeling is something else.
